Orange and Ginger Salmon
This recipe is intended to be quick and easy, for maximum effect...impress your family and guests, but without a huge cooking effort.
- Filet and de-bone salmon, leave skin on.
- In bowl, mix a container of concentrated orange juice, minced ginger (or use a garlic press), 4 or 5 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil.
- Vary ginger and sugar to taste...but more the better.
- Marinade salmon for 4 hours.
- BBQ skin side down, medium heat, for 10-20 minutes, depending on thickness of filet (be careful not to overcook!)
- Brush marinade on every couple of minutes, the sugar will glaze to a near crispy sweet finish.
- Serve with orange slices.
